On the night of the New Moon, Towa chases after the dream butterfly and runs into Riku. Riku treats the whole thing kind of like a date but then Totetsu shows up to try to kill Towa while she doesn’t have her demon powers to protect her. 

This is another episode that I have a very love/hate relationship with. I don’t really think it’s a bad episode, but I can describe how I feel about the Riku/Towa pairing in one word: Cringe. It’s so obvious at this point in the series that Riku is a puppet of Kirinmaru and that makes the prospect of the two of them together gross me out a little bit.
